Money-Michael Jackson

Money.
Money...
Lie for it
Spy for it
Kill for it
Die for it

So you call it trust
But I say it's just
In the devil's game
Of greed and lust

They don't care
They'd do me for the money
They don't care
They use me for the money

So you go to church
Read the Holy word
In the scheme of life
It's all absurd

They don't care
They'd kill for the money
Do or dare
The thrill for the money

You're saluting the flag
Your country trusts you
Now you're wearing a badge
You're called the "Just Few"
And you're fighting the wars
A soldier must do

I'll never betray or deceive you my friend but...
If you show me the cash
Then I will take it
If you tell me to cry
Then I will fake it
If you give me a hand
Then I will shake it
You'll do anything for money...
Anything
Anything
Anything for money
Would lie for you
Would die for you
Even sell my soul to the devil
Anything
Anything
Anything for money
Would lie for you
Would die for you
Even sell my soul to the devil

Insurance?
Where do your loyalties lie?
Is that your alibi?
I don't think so
You don't care
You'd do her for the money
Say it's fair
You sue her for the money

Want your pot of gold
Need the Midas touch
Bet you sell your soul
Cuz your God is such
You don't care
You kill for the money
Do or dare
The thrill for the money

Are you infected with the same disease
Of lust, gluttony and greed?
Then watch the ones
With the biggest smiles
The idle jabbers...Cuz they're the backstabbers

If you know it's a lie
Then you will swear it
If you give it with guilt
Then you will bear it
If it's taking a chance
Then you will dare it
You'll do anything for money...
Anything
Anything
Anything for money
Would lie for you
Would die for you
Even sell my soul to the devil
Anything
Anything
Anything for money
Would lie for you
Would die for you
Even sell my soul to the devil
Anything
Anything
Anything for money
Would lie for you
Would die for you
Even sell my soul to the devil
Anything
Anything
Anything for money
Would lie for you
Would die for you
Even sell my soul to the devil
You say you wouldn't do it
For all the money in the world
I don't think soIf you show me the man
Then I will sell him
If you ask me to lie
Then I will tell him
If you're dealing with God
Then you will hell him
You'll do anything for money
Anything
Anything
Anything for money
Would lie for you
Would die for you
Even sell my soul to the devil

Oh, Mother

It was a fine morning, we are having our Accounting subject. Everything was so nice, I feel so relaxed, though I am sleepy. I missed my early-morning-jeepney-ride nap because I felt "somebody's watching me". The heavy rain is pouring outside, creating a somber atmosphere inside the cold classroom. Then my professor dropped the bomb.

He announced for a make-up class on Saturday, September 12, 2009. I am still unsure of the schedule but one thing for sure, I won't be able to attend the Concelebrated Mass on that day, on the National Pilgrimage for Peace.

Sad.

We've been attending the pilgrimage every year, and it is very fruitful for our family. Just like last year, I was able to meet and interview the visionary and feel her motherly love right on the Mass. I feel God is glorified. This is my devotion.

But with the announcement, I feel so sad. How about the pilgrimage, I asked myself. I whispered a short prayer, "Beautiful Lady, I won't be there".

Ease on Down The Road

We are watching Diana Ross' The Wiz with the very young Michael Jackson. I saw the DVD this afternoon, since I had the enough money, I immediately bought it.

Honestly I feel very depressed today. It concerns my studies. I feel I fail in everything. This is my day of failure. I received low and failing grades on my two major subjects. Then our class had a feud with someone so..so crazy. I am not going to detail it. But half of the class was sent out of the classroom this morning, and that includes me. I am not going to details about this, but I am just a victim of this case.

This morning as I woke up at 4:05am, the first thought that came to my mind was "You are doing the work of the Lord". The Almighty Father works with me, and so with you. If you are a professor or professional, you do the work of the Lord. So, to make everything not a burden offer your works to Him. The Lord helps us, and we also help him.

I was very motivated, and it all started when I prayed to Him last night, surrendering everything to Him. I prayed to the Blessed Mother, and I felt her special embrace. But today, I met failures. Maybe there's something the Lord wants to tell me.

If my brother sleeps on his way home, I sleep on my way to school. I start my school journey at 5:00am to reach my 7:00am class.

I felt very down, and I worry so much! But the Lord finds a way to keep me going.

And the song "Ease on Down the Road" kept me up. Michael Jackson inspires me! I am going to share some parts to you:

"Ease on down, Ease on down the road
don't you carry nothing that might be a load come" - what wastes my time? What unnecessary things that burden me?

"You just keep on keepin' on the road that you choose
Don't you give up walking cause you gave up shoes"- I chose this road, I am going to finish this.

"Cause there may be times when you think you lost your mind
And the steps you're taking leave you three four steps behind
But the road you're walking might be long sometimes
You just keep on stepping and you'll be just fine (yeah)" - self explanatory.

I am asking for your prayers. May the Almighty Father bless you all!

Help Build the MCSH Chapel

Just today we attended the Holy MASS at the Missionary Catechists of the Sacred Heart near our home, at Sabang, Lipa City, Batangas. Sunday Mass were celebrated at the private oratory of the nuns, so you can still find breviaries, prayer booklets and some reading materials at the pew. The view of Mount Malarayat is very beautiful, you'll feel at home, surrounded by the nature. The mass was celebrated by our dear father and friend of our Companion group, Father Rhandy.

When we arrived here in Lipa in the year 2003, what we could see from our backyard is a large unused land. Months later, the construction of their new mother house started. We saw how it has grown, how it was build. We were in our elementary. When our pet cat (may he rest in peace) was lost, we tried to find him at the creek behind us, then we went to the unfinished convent to try our luck. See, we have entered a nun's convent!

During that time, we could see nuns in our school G.B.Lontok Memorial School in P. Laygo St., Sabang. Their old moth
er house is located near our school. So we could see nuns helping our canteen sell foods and snacks to us. When we first saw them, we were surprised. We thought they were the OP Siena sisters, so I gathered all my courage and asked a nun from what congregation does she belong. She responded 'MCSH'. I wasn't aware of the order. Later on, during the 'practical test' of a sister it was very exciting. As a token of her gratitude, she gave us rosaries blessed by the Servant of God, John Paul II the Great. Unfortunately, I lost mine and Jairus kept his. Luckily, the one which I gave to my mother survived and now it rests in the hands of the statue of Saint Augustine.

As we grow up, we discovered more of them. They have the Augustinian spirituality, which made me happy. I am a devotee of San Agustin. We see them in the Chancery, in their store in the Lipa Cathedral. They played a part in the formation of our group.

The convent is not yet finished. They are still building their chapel, beautiful chapel. I took pictures of the construction site this morning. I can see how great this chapel would be. The sisters are asking for your help. Please visit this link for more info.

I also invite everyone here to celebrate and attend the National Pilgrimage for Peace and Sanctification of Clergy which will be held at the OCD Nuns monastery. This is a very nice vent for every Catholics. Experience the love of Jesus through his Mother Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace. Let her shower of petals touch your heart! For more info, visit this link.
